DC KIPHIRE ISSUES PROHIBITION ORDERS IN AND AROUND HELIPAD AREA
Deputy Commissioner Kiphire, Temsuwati Longkumer, NCS, has issued an order prohibiting social gatherings, physical training (PT), drills, sports activities, and other congregational activities in and around the helipad area.
The DC informed all concerned departments, officers, institutions, and the general public to strictly comply with the instructions and refrain from unnecessary movement or activities around the helipad that may affect the safe operation of helicopter services.
NOMENCLATURE OF THE NAGALAND STATE & PARA GAMES (NSPG) 2026
The Nagaland Olympic Association has informed to all concerned that the Nagaland Olympic & Paralympic Games (NOPG) 2026, as notified earlier, shall henceforth be known and referred to as the “Nagaland State & Para Games (NSPG) 2026.
Accordingly, all future official communications, notifications, correspondence, publicity materials and other documents relating to the Games shall use the revised nomenclature, Nagaland State & Para Games (NSPG) 2026.

DC NOKLAK ENCOURAGES FOR PARTICIPATION IN STATE LEVEL HALF MARATHON
The office of the Deputy Commissioner, Noklak has informed that the 78 Battalion CRPF in collaboration with Sports Authority of India (SAI) will be organising state level Half Marathon under "SPANDAN" sports for peace & development across nation on 05th October 2026 in Kohima.
The proposed state level Half Marathon is envisaged as a major sporting event and will offer 60 prizes across 3 categories with a total prize value of approximately 6.30 lakhs.
DC POLAN JOHN CALLS FOR COORDINATED ANTI-DRUG ACTION
Deputy Commissioner, Chumoukedima, Polan John, NCS, called for coordinated and sustained efforts by all concerned departments to strengthen the district’s anti-drug campaign on 24th September 2026 at the DC’s office chamber, Choumukedima.
Addressing a review meeting, the Deputy Commissioner directed departments to submit reports on activities undertaken, which will be compiled and reviewed in subsequent meetings for effective follow-up.
