AADHAAR REGISTRATION CAMP FOR CHILDREN 0-5 YEARS TO BE HELD AT KIPHIRE

 

 

District Economics & Statistics Officer Kiphire has informed that, in collaboration with UIDAI, the department is organising a Aadhaar registration camp for children in the age group of 0-5 years at DESO Office, Kiphire from 3rd August to 14th August 2026.

In this regard, all the parents and guardians of Children age 0-5 years, are requested to avail the opportunity and bring their children to the registration camp along with the required documents.

DC KOHIMA NOTIFIES ASF CONTAINMENT MEASURES IN AFFECTED AREAS

 

 

The Deputy Commissioner, Kohima, B. Henok Buchem, has issued a notification following the confirmation of African Swine Fever (ASF) outbreak at Rütsie, P. Khel, Kohima Village and Mezoma Village under Kohima district.

According to the notification, positive laboratory test reports received from the Office of the Chief Veterinary Officer, Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services confirmed the outbreak of the disease.

Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer Tuensang, Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa has notified that Special Intensive Revision (SIR) will begin from 5th August 2026 for every eligible citizen to include in the Electoral Roll, while every ineligible entry will be identified and removed.

EAC KIPHIRE INFORMS ON MASS SOCIAL WORK

 

 

Extra Assistant Commissioner, Kato T Aomi, NCS, Kiphire had informed that, in view of the forthcoming Independence Day celebration on 15th August 2026, a Mass Social Work will be conducted throughout Kiphire Town on 1st August 2026 (Saturday), from 6:00 AM onwards, to ensure cleanliness and improve the overall appearance of the town in preparation for the celebrations.
