VEGETATION CLEARANCE ALONG 132KV TRANSMISSION LINES IN KOHIMA DIVISION
The Department of Power, Nagaland, has informed the public about the scheduled vegetation clearance along 132kV transmission lines under the Kohima Transmission Division.
In a communication, the Executive Engineer, Transmission Division, Kohima, requested the general public in the affected areas to extend cooperation and bear with the inconvenience during the shutdown period required for the vegetation clearance work.

DR. T. AO TROPHY INTER-DISTRICT FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP TO MARK SILVER JUBILEE
The Nagaland Football Association (NFA), in collaboration with the Organizing Committee and hosted by the Mokokchung District Football Association (MDFA), will organize the Silver Jubilee Edition of the Dr. T. Ao Trophy 25th Inter-District Football Championship on 13th October, 2026, at Renpo Lu Sports Complex, Ungma, Mokokchung.

DC TSEMINYU NOTIFIES ON FIRE-CRACKER RESTRICTIONS
Deputy Commissioner, Tseminyu, Japheth Woch, NCS, has notified the following restrictions to be imposed with immediate effect within Tseminyu District, in compliance with the Supreme Court directions:
1. Sale of only Green Crackers: Sale and use of firecrackers, other than Green Crackers with reduced omissions as certified by NEER/CSIR and bearing QR code, shall be strictly prohibited.

The Deputy Commissioner & District Election Office, Kiphire has informed that Special Camps will be conducted at designated polling stations on 9th October 2026, in connection with the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of Electoral Rolls, 2026.
