The Deputy Commissioner, Chümoukedima, Polan John, NCS has informed that the restrictions on the transportation, slaughter, sale and movement of pigs and pork from Toulazouma and adjoining villages, imposed following the African Swine Fever (ASF) outbreak, have been lifted with immediate effect.

Deputy Commissioner Peren, Hiazu Meru in an order stated that in pursuance of the Chief Veterinary & Animal Husbandry Officer Peren, the order of the ban on the slaughter of pigs, import of pork, and transportation of pigs into Jalukie Valley issued vide 25^th April 2026 is lifted with immediate effect.
