MLA, ACHUMBEMO RAISES THE ISSUE OF ENVIRONMENT & CLIMATE CHANGE
During Zero Hour of the Phase-II of the Eighth Session of the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly at NLA Hall, Kohima on 26th March 2026, MLA, Achumbemo Kikon raised the issue of Environment and Climate Change based on the findings of the 7- Committee members on "Nagaland Environment and Climate Change".

Apropos the news item under the caption “GOVERNMENT DECLARES MARCH 28 AS WORKING SATURDAY” published in today's “Naga News” dated 25th March 2026, the entire second paragraph that reads, “The day is also declared as working day for the Banks and Financial Institutes under the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881” is omitted completely from the news article and considered as null and void.
