The Deputy Commissioner of Kohima, B. Henok Buchem, NCS, has issued an order declaring containment measures following the confirmation of an outbreak of African Swine Fever (ASF) in parts of Kohima district.
The Entrepreneurs Associates (EA) will organise a Charity Sales Drive in aid of cabbage farmers from the Razeba Range on 16th July 2026, at Old NST Junction and Post Office Junction, Kohima, from 7:00 a.m. onwards.
The charity sale will be inaugurated by the Minister for Horticulture and Women Resource Development, Government of Nagaland, Salhoutuonuo Kruse.
The North Eastern Council (NEC) released over ₹58.96 crore in May-June 2026 to support various development initiatives in Nagaland out of which ₹48.02 crore was allocated under NESIDS (Roads) and remaining fund released was under the Scheme of NEC (SoNEC).
