In view of the prevailing situation under its jurisdiction, the United Sangtam Likhüm Pümji (USLP), Kiphire has issued a Peace advisory on the 10th of October 2026.
In a notification dated 10th October 2026, USLP stated that no individual or group will be allowed to create tension or disturb law and order under United Sangtam jurisdiction under Kiphire District.
All citizens have been requested to maintain maximum restraint and extend full cooperation to the law enforcing agencies and the District Administration.
The USLP further warned that if any individual or group violates this order, the organization shall not be responsible for any untoward incident arising out of it.
Copies of the order have been forwarded to Deputy Commissioner Kiphire, Yimkhiung Tribal Council, and Tikhir Tribal Council.
