Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Shanavas C IAS has in a circular informed all the Head of Offices posted at Kohima Headquarters and Gaon BURAS under Kohima Sadar (Urban & Rural) to compulsorily attend the Republic Day Celebration on 26th January 2023 at Nagaland Civil Secretariat Plaza.

In view of the upcoming General Election to the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly and to ensure a peaceful atmosphere in the district, Deputy Commissioner & District Magistrate Kohima, Shanavas C IAS has directed all the arms license holders under Kohima District to deposit their firearms along with ammunition and license to their concerned Police Station latest by 31st January 2023.

Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Shanavas C IAS has informed that a meeting will be held on 23rd January 2023 at 2:00 PM at DC’s Conference Hall, Kohima to discuss the work distribution and other logistic arrangements regarding the celebration of Republic Day at Nagaland Civil Secretariat Plaza, Kohima on 26th January 2023.

It is brought to the notice of the School Education Department that few Schools are selling Text Books at a price higher than the printed price of the textbooks by affixing stickers. All concerned have been cautioned not to indulge in such unethical practices.
