D.C. Mon, Thavaseelan K, IAS notified the public that plying of heavy vehicles like trucks, buses, etc is strictly prohibited along the route of RCC Bridge at Chunrei Nullah below 100 RCC GRDF Camp due to the partial washing away of the route by incessant rain.

DC Peren, in a circular, has informed all concerned that a video conference on Prime Minister cares for children scheme will be held on 30th May 2022 at 9.45 Am at Peren Town Hall whereby the PM will release the whole gamut of benefits and services to children who have lost both the parents/ legal guardian/ adoptive parents / surviving parents to COVID-19 pandemic.

ADC Jopheth Woch Pfutsero has informed the general public of Pfutsero town that there will be Mass Cleanliness Drive on the 28th May (Saturday) from 7 a.m onwards in view of the onset of monsoon season. All ward authorities have been directed to conduct a cleanliness drive within their respective wards.

Jal Jeevan Mission under the Ministry of Jal Shakti, Department of Drinking Water & Sanitation aims to provide drinking water supply to the rural households through Functional Household Tap Connection ( FHTC) by 2024. The Mission was announced by the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi on the 73rd Independence Day in 2019.

In view of the RCC bridge at Chunrei Nullah located below 100 RCC GREF Camp, Mon to Aboi road being partially washed away due to incessant rain, DC Mon, Thavaseelan K, IAS, on 25th May 2022, issued an advisory strictly prohibiting plying of heavy vehicle, buses, trucks, etc along the route till further orders.

The Deputy Commissioner Kohima Gregory Thejawelie IAS has informed the general public that the Traffic restriction imposed on vehicular movement at Peducha/Zubza (Steel Bridge Area) NH-29 from 00:00 hrs to 02:00 hrs has been lifted with immediate effect.
