The Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA), Home Department is conducting Mock Exercise in all the districts of the State beginning from the 14th February 2022. The Mock exercise is being conducted simulating an earthquake scenario, this is being done as a preparedness measure to respond to any emergency.

Nagaland Athletics is issuing this press release concerning the conduct of the South Asian Cross Country Championships and the 56th National Cross Country Championships as under.

According to a report received, Shothumi Village Council Chairman, Tozuyi Kiba and Hd.GB Khehovi stated that one person named Kavito from Shothumi Village died while cutting a tree, an intensive wind knock off the tree branch he was cutting and hit him killing him in the process. He passed away leaving behind five minor kids and his wife. The incident happened on 12 February 2022 at Shothumi Village under Seyochung town, Kiphire district.

A meeting of Administrative Head of Departments and Head of Departments will be held on 17th February 2022 at 1:00 PM in the Secretariat Conference Hall.

The agenda to be discussed are:

1. Review of the last meeting agendas.
