The Nagaland Optometric Association, in a press release through its President, Nengneilhing Nakhro has informed that the Nagaland Optometric Association (NOA) is the state representative of the Optometrists community in and around the State. The released stated that Association was formed in the year 2018 and got registered with the Government of Nagaland on 25th March 2021 with registration no. HOME/SRC-7484.

The Association has informed every Optometry graduates from Nagaland to register with both the State and Central Council (Optometry Council of India). Any Optometrist from outside the State practicing in Nagaland have been requested to register with the State Association as per the directive of the Allied and Healthcare Professionals Bill 2021.
