Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer, Tseminyu, Dr. Zasekuolie Chusi, IAS along with Council of Rengma Baptist Church, Zunpha, Tseminyu observed the National Voters' Day on 25th January 2023 at CRBC, Zunpha ground.

The DC stated that National Voters Day is a very important day for everyone. He said the Election Commission of India in 2010, marked 25th January as the National Voters' Day to promote free and fair election. He added the day is to encourage to all voters and also to encourage the youngsters to participate in the election process.

The winners of the essay competition were felicitated during the programme Sicy Seb of Christian School Tseminyu was the winner while Sotilo Tep of Government Higher Secondary School, Tseminyu and Kilongla Yimchunger of Baptist Higher Secondary School Tseminyu came in second and third respectively. Best BLO was awarded to David Tep of polling station 15th Tseminyu Old Town and Kedalo Seb of polling stations 11 Gukhanyu while Campus Ambassador was awarded to Runohile Keppen. Youngest voter, Sokenye Tep and Gwachule Kemp, oldest voter, Ativu Jemu and PWD category, Haile Kath were also felicitated during the function.

Short speech was delivered by Runohile Keppen, campus ambassador while welcome address was pronounced by Dr. Rushvulo Seb, Principal of Mt Terogvu Theological College, Zunpha. The programme was chaired by EAC, HQ/ARO, Tseminyu, Ruokuosetuo Tetso, NCS while vote of thanks was delivered by ADC & RO, Tseminyu, Longasen Lotha.
