The Deputy Commissioner, Kohima has hereby issued the following revised directives to be strictly followed with immediate effect till further orders.

PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES:

1. Inter- state movement of individuals except for medical reasons or for activities as permitted by the government.
2. All schools, colleges, educational/ training/ coaching institutions etc. However online/ distance learning shall be permitted.
3. Hospitality services other than those used for housing health/ police/ Government officials/ healthcare workers, stranded persons including tourists and those used for quarantine facilities.
4. All Cinema Halls, shopping malls, gymnasiums, sports complexes, swimming pools, entertainment parks, theatres, bars and auditoriums, assembly halls and similar places.
5. All social/ political/ sports/ entertainment/ academic/ cultural/ religious functions/ other gatherings.
6. All religious places/ places of worship shall be closed for public, religious congregations are strictly prohibited.
7. The movement of individuals and vehicles for all non- essential activities shall remain strictly prohibited between 5PM to 6AM. Further, gatherings of more than 5 people are prohibited.
8. Movement of passenger buses.
9. Use of common public toilets.
10. All persons above 65 years of age with co-morbidities, pregnant women, and children below the age of 10 years, shall stay at home, except for meeting essential requirements and for health purposes as per the National Directives.
11. List of Multi- Brand, single brand and market complexes within KMC jurisdiction which offer no scope for social distancing. Enclosed in Annexure -1.
12. List of Street vending locations. Enclosed in Annexure - I.

RELAXED ACTIVITIES:

1. Local Taxis will be permitted to ply within the municipal jurisdiction strictly as per the guidelines for local taxis issued by this office Vide. NO.DCK/CON/COVID- 19/2020/412 Dated Kohima the 5th May 2020.
2. Permitted shops are allowed to open on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 7:00AM to 2:00PM as usual.

Apart from those shops which are already permitted by this office the shops as mentioned below are allowed to open strictly following the roster given in Annexure-II.

All other relaxations and prohibitions which have been specified in the previous orders issued by this office shall remain in effect till further orders.

Failure to comply with these directives will invite strict penal actions as per relevant sections of law.
