District Task Force Kiphire discussed on logistics in regard to the intra District transportation of the stranded citizens due to Covid-19 lockdown. The meeting was held at the DC's conference Hall on 5th April led by Sarita Yadav, DC & DTF Chairperson Kiphire.

The members decided to set free movements of the citizens for few days with effect from Thursday onwards, so as to enable the people to reach their respective Villages/towns within Nagaland.

Facilitation centre has been arranged in the control room DC office, where enlisting and monitoring of travellers will be carried out. Police department/enforcement have been requested to carry out proper screening at their arrival in each check points i.e at Longmatra, Yangzitong and Longthonger check points.

DTF Chairperson has also requested the Medical Department to organise a Mock Drill once more in view of the Administration and the Police Department. She said that SOP issued by the Government is not full proof and therefore organising a Mock Drill with full simulation is required.
