Along with the rest of the Country Tuensang District Celebrated 75th Republic Day on 26th January 2024 at Parade Ground Tuensang with Advisor for Agriculture, Mhathung Yanthan as the Chief Guest.

After unfurling the Nation Flag and Rastra Salute the Chief Guest delivered the Republic Day speech. A total of Eight Parade Contingents consisting of DEF Tuensang, 3rd NAP Tuensang, VG Tuensang Village, VG Konya Village, Ex- Service men, NCC St. John Hr. Secondary School, Bharat Scouts and Guides and 3rd NAP Pipe Band with Tianungba Asst. Commandant 3rd NAP as Parade Commander and Tohanba Quinker ABI, DEF as Parade Second in Command.

In the programme Cultural presentation was performed by Changen Cultural Troupe, Sangli Culture Troupe, Khiamniungan Cultural Troupe, Kemifu Cultural Troupe and Tikhir Women Dancing Troupe, and special Presentation from Jazz Band 29th Assam Rifles. The best Farmer Award from ATMA was presented to Ayenmongba from Chendang Village and Lirichem from Mangangki Village. After the function the Chief Guest Inaugurated Exhibition stall from Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA), District Election Office, Department of Health and Family Welfare, State Bank of India, Land Resources, Soil and water Conservation, PHED, Veterinary, Horticulture, KVK, Co- Operative and Forest Department. The Advisor was accompanied by Imtichuba MLA and Chairman DPDB Tuensang.

Earlier visitation of institution to District Jail by DDMA, District Hospital by COC, AR Hospital by IRCS, 3rd NAP Hospital by CTS and Children’s Home by DPO (ICDS).
