The Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) organised a cleanliness drive under the banner "Clean Habits, Clean Values" as part of the Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS) 2024 campaign. The initiative, which covered the stretch from Old MLA Junction to Razhü Point, saw active participation from citizens with an endeavour to keep their town clean, green, and healthy.

KMC Chairperson, Neikhozo Suokhrie, formally inaugurated the SHS 2024 campaign, and stressed the importance of large-scale citizen involvement, and regular cleanliness drives.

Chief Executive Officer, KMC, T Lanusenla Longkumer, administered the SHS Oath to the participants, reinforcing the campaign’s values. Longkumer also reviewed the activities carried out so far and urged citizens to take the initiative by organizing similar cleanliness drives in their own wards, colonies, and workplaces.
