The full text is as follows :

“Today 22 more returnees have been tested positive for COVID -19. Total active cases in the State now stand at 80 as of today.   All the positive persons are receiving medical care at the designated COVID-19 Hospitals. Further, active surveillance is going on to prevent further spreading of the infection.

Till date, a total of 3638 samples have been tested. Results of 2130 samples have been received out of which 80 as mentioned above are positive. The results for 1508 samples are awaited. Through the Truenat testing machine so far a total of 101 samples have been tested and all are negative.

Presently a total of 4642 persons are under Facility Quarantine.

Today Shri Neiba Kronu, Hon’ble Minister for Planning & Coordination, Land Revenue and Parliamentary Affairs, Shri Mmhonlumo Kikon, Hon’ble Advisor for IT, S&T and NRE held a meeting with the District Task Force Kohima on COVID-19. In the meeting detailed discussions were held regarding the management of the Quarantine Centres and the measures that could be taken to further streamline their functioning. The various other issues being faced by the district concerning its preparedness in combating COVID-19 were also deliberated upon. Shri Tongpang Ozukum, Hon’ble Minister for Housing & Mechanical, Dr. Neikiesalie Kire, Hon’ble Advisor for Urban Development & Municipal Affairs, and Shri Khriehu Liezietsu Hon’ble MLA were also present in the meeting along with Principal Secretary, Home, Deputy Commissioner, Kohima, Superintendent of Police, Kohima, CMO Kohima and other officials.

A total of 37 stranded persons from Chhattisgarh and Odisha have reached Nagaland by bus today. The Special Train that left Bengaluru, Karnataka on the 2nd of June 2020 with about 1500 stranded persons from Nagaland will be reaching Dimapur tomorrow in the morning.
