The report on Law & Order situation in Nagaland as on 4th June 2020 stated that there was no violation of the lock down and added that no incident of law & order was reported in the State. The statement was issued by HiazuMeru, Joint Secretary, Home Department, Government of Nagaland in the daily report on COVID-19.
On essential goods, it stated that shops for food grains & groceries and milk remain opened in all the districts of the State. Shops for medicine also continue to remain opened in all the districts.
According to the statement, there was no restrictions on the movement of essential service providers like electricity/telecom facilities/medical facilities etc. The movement of personnel/workers in manufacturing units of essential commodities and commercial vehicles for distribution of commodities and the movement of e-commerce agents were also not restricted as per the report.
Further, the report informed that there is 1(one) active relief/shelter camp on continuity of having been made suitable arrangements for providing food & shelter to effected migrant workers. In this regard there are 2(two) food camps where 155(one hundred and fifty five) daily wagers/needy person were provided food/dry ration by the Government/NGOs, the report stated.
