The full text is as follows:

“Today, 14 more returnees have been tested positive for COVID -19. The total active cases in the State as of today stands at 94. All the positive persons are receiving medical care at the designated COVID-19 Hospitals and out of the 94 positive persons, 78 are asymptomatic and 16 are having mild symptoms.

Till date, a total of 3883 samples have been sent for testing. Results of 2365 samples have been received, out of which 94 are positive as mentioned above. The results of the remaining samples are awaited.  Through the Truenat testing machines so far a total of 101 samples have been tested and all are negative.

A total of 4607 persons are presently under Facility Quarantine.

Shri Neiba Kronu, Hon’ble Minister for Planning & Coordination, Land Revenue and Parliamentary Affairs, along with Shri Mmhonlumo Kikon, Hon’ble Advisor for IT, S&T and NRE, both Spokespersons of the Government for combating COVID-19 pandemic met the District Task Force Dimapur in the presence of Shri Jacob Zhimomi, Hon’ble Minister for PHED, Shri Tovihoto Ayemi, Hon’ble Advisor for Power, Shri Zhaleo Rio, Hon’ble Advisor for Sericulture, Excise and Minority Affairs and Shri Azheto Zhimomi, Hon’ble MLA.

Shri Y. Kikheto Sema, IAS, APC & Dimapur District in-charge for coordinating COVID-19 activities, Shri Kesonyu Yhome, IAS, Secretary, Health, Shri Honje Konyak, Secretary, Food & Civil Supplies, Deputy Commissioner, Commissioner of Police, Chief Medical Officer and Medical Superintendent of Dimapur District also attended the meeting along with other officials.

The various issues of Manpower and Logistical concerns in the district and the need to identify Covid Care Centres for Asymptomatic positive Persons were discussed.The primary concern of arrangements for returnees and related issues were also deliberated. The efforts of Team Dimapur was appreciated by everyone as Dimapur has been shouldering the responsibilities of almost all districts for weeks together. The CIHSR hospital, Dimapur was also visited by the State’s spokespersons along with others to explore avenues for assisting the State Government efforts by the Referral Hospital, and the BSL 2 lab under construction was also inspected.

The Special Train that left Bengaluru on the 2nd of June 2020 with about 1500 stranded persons from Nagaland arrived Dimapur today in the afternoon. Another Special Train carrying about 1300 stranded persons from Nagaland is leaving Ahmedabad, Gujarat today and will reach Dimapur on the 8th of June 2020.”
