Principal Secretary, Home, Abhijit Sinha informed that no violation of the lockdown was reported in the State as on 6th June 2020. While issuing the report on Law & Order and facilitation of essential Goods & Services, he added that no Law & Order incident has been reported.
According to the report, essential commodity shops and medical shops continue to remain open in all the districts. The report also maintained that no shortage of food grains, medicines and other essentials have been reported in any part of the State.
The Principal Secretary also informed that no restriction was imposed on the movement of commercial vehicles for distribution of essential commodities and service providers. Further, there was no restriction on the movement of commercial vehicles for distribution of essential commodities and e-commerce agents.
The report added that suitable arrangements have been made for providing food and shelter to migrant workers affected by the COVID-19 restrictions. Pertaining to that, there is 1(One) active relief camp and 2 (Two) active food camps where 194 (One Hundred and Ninety Four) daily wagers and needy people were provided food and dry ration.
