Joint Secretary to the Government of Nagaland, Hiazu Meru informed that no violation of the lockdown nor any law & order incident have been reported in the State as on 14th June 2020.
On the availability of essential goods, the report stated that shops for food grains and groceries were open in all the districts other than Longleng and Mokokchung. Medical shops remain opened in all the districts except Longleng. The report also maintained that no shortage of food grains, medicines and other essentials have been reported in any part of the State. It added that no movement restriction was imposed for the distribution of essential commodities and on service providers.
According to the report, suitable arrangements that have been made for providing food and shelter to migrant workers affected by the COVID-19 restrictions continue to function. In this regard, there is 1(one) active relief/shelter camp and 1 (one) food camp.
