The full text is as follows

“As on today, the total number of positive cases in the State stands at 211. Out of this, the total active cases are 70, and 141 have recovered. All the positive persons are receiving medical care at the designated COVID-19 Hospitals. As per the severity of symptoms, all the 70 active cases are asymptomatic.

As per the distribution of the 211 cases by age, there are 4 cases between 0-17 years, 200 cases between 18-44 years, 5 cases between 45-64 years and 2 cases between 65-74 years. As per the distribution of gender, there are 135 males and 76 females.

As of 4pm today; a total of 9,447 samples have been sent for testing. Results of 7,879 samples have been received and 1,563 samples are awaited. Out of the 9447 samples, 6405 samples have been received at the BSL-3 lab at the Naga Hospital Authority Kohima (NHAK), till today, and a total of 5,063 samples have been tested- out of which 152 samples have tested positive.

In addition a total of 2,443 samples have been sent for testing by Truenat, out of which 23 samples tested positive and have been sent for confirmation by RT-PCR. 1,896 samples have tested negative and results of 523 samples are awaited.

A total of 6, 846 persons are presently under Facility Quarantine.
