The full text is as follows :

“The total number of positive cases in the State, as on today stands at 774. All the positive persons are receiving medical care at the designated COVID-19 Hospitals and COVID-19 Care Centres. Further, active surveillance and contact tracing is in progress to prevent further spreading of the infection.

Out of the 774 positive cases, the total active cases are 447, and 327 have recovered. As per the severity of symptoms, 443 active cases are asymptomatic and 4 active cases are mild.

Till date, a total of 16,343 samples have been sent for testing through RT-PCR. Results of 15,424 samples have been received. Out of the total of 16,343 samples, 11,338 samples have been sent for testing at the BSL-3 lab at the Naga Hospital Authority Kohima (NHAK) and at the BSL-2 lab at the CIHSR, Dimapur, and 600 samples have tested positive.

In addition, a total of 9,876 samples have been sent for testing on Truenat. 9,258 samples have tested negative, and 300 samples have tested positive which have been sent for confirmation by RT-PCR.

A total of 3,354 persons are presently under Facility Quarantine.
