The full text as follows:

“As on today, the total number of positive cases in the State stands at 988. All the positive persons are receiving medical care at the designated COVID-19 Hospitals and COVID-19 Care Centres. Further, active surveillance and contact tracing is in progress to prevent further spreading of the infection.

Out of the 988 positive cases, the total active cases are 543, and 445 have recovered. As per the severity of symptoms, 539 active cases are asymptomatic and 2 active cases are mild and 2active case is moderate.

Till date, a total of 18,465 samples have been sent for testing through RT-PCR. Results of 17,517 samples have been received.

Out of the 11,137 samples received, a total of 11,087 samples have been tested at the BSL-3 lab at the Naga Hospital Authority Kohima (NHAK) and out of which 579 samples have tested positive.

In addition, a total of 12 103 samples have been sent for testing on Truenat. 11, 463samples have tested negative, and 365 samples have tested positive which have been sent for confirmation by RT-PCR.

A total of 2,942 persons are presently under Facility Quarantine.”
