As on today, the total number of positive cases in the State stands at 1021. All the positive persons are receiving medical care at the designated COVID-19 Hospitals and COVID-19 Care Centres. Further, active surveillance and contact tracing is in progress to prevent further spreading of the infection.

Out of the 1021 positive cases, the total active cases are 537, and 484 have recovered.

Till date, a total of 18,668 samples have been sent for testing through RT-PCR. Results of 17,971 samples have been received. Out of the 17,971 samples, a total of 11,286 samples have been tested at the BSL-3 lab at the Naga Hospital Authority Kohima (NHAK) and out of which 616 samples have tested positive. At the BSL-2 lab at the CIHSR, Dimapur, a total of 2,828 samples were processed and out of which 279 samples have tested positive.

In addition, a total of 12,330 samples have been sent for testing on Truenat. 11,720 samples have tested negative, and 381 samples have tested positive which have been sent for confirmation by RT-PCR.

A total of 2, 878 persons are presently under Facility Quarantine.
