As decided in the Tuensang District Task Force (DTF) on COVID -19 meeting held on 8th July 2020 and in the interest of public health and safety, a campaign to spread awareness on safe practices under Tuensang district in view of COVID - 19 pandemic, in this regard, Deputy Commissioner Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant IAS has hereby notified as per the dates mentioned below :

St. John A, B and Polounyu ward Department incharge - Forest department, assisting by ward concerned /Sakhi one Stop Centre in 23th July 2020. 

High school A and B Ward department Incharge - GHSS Tuensang assisted by ward concerned /MSK on 24th July 2020. 

Bazaar A, B and C ward department Incharge - PHED & Fisheries Dept. assisted by ward concerned /NSRLM/TCCI on 25th July 2020. 

Old Medical A and B Ward department incharge - GHSS Thangjam assisted by ward concerned /Sakhi one stop centre on 27th July 2020. 

Officers Colony and post office department Incharge - Social Welfare department assisted by ward concerned /MSK on 28th July 2020. 

3rd NAP department Incharge - Social welfare department assisted by ward concerned /NSRLM on 29th July 2020. 

The department in charge shall liaison with the other agencies /NGOs and the team shall ensure that messages on social distancing /wearing of masks /washing of hands /no-spitting in public places and other safety measures are widely disseminated in their respective assigned wards. Messages against discriminations and harassments of front line workers and returnees are to be widely disseminated. The teams shall distribute face masks to the public in need. All department concerned are to submit action taken report along with photographs to this Office on completion of the exercise. The DPRO, Tuensang, shall assist the teams and provide sound systems and make necessary announcements for each team.
