The full text is as follows :

“The total number of positive cases in the State as on today stands at 1174. The positive persons are receiving medical care at the designated COVID-19 Hospitals and COVID-19 Care Centres. Active surveillance and contact tracing is also in progress to prevent further spreading of the infection.

Out of the 1174 positive cases, the total active cases are 644, and 530 have recovered. As per the severity of symptoms, 640 active cases are asymptomatic and 2 active cases are mild, 1 active case is moderate and 1 active case is in ICU on ventilator.

 

Till date, a total of 20,126 samples have been sent for testing through RT-PCR. Results of 18,968 samples have been received and out of this, a total of 11,793 samples have been tested at the BSL-3 lab at the Naga Hospital Authority Kohima (NHAK) and 654 samples have tested positive. In addition, a total of 13,497 samples have been sent for testing on Truenat. 12,766 samples have tested negative, and 428 samples have tested positive which have been sent for confirmation by RT-PCR.

A total of 2,821 persons are presently under Facility Quarantine.
