Deputy Commissioner Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant IAS has issued orders on 10th August 2020 that the drivers /handymen / passengers of trucks bringing in essential commodities to Tuensang Town are de - boarding from their vehicles and mixing with the local population. And despite repeated directions to shopkeepers /business establishments to ensure that no drivers /handyman /Passengers of trucks de - board from their vehicles while unloading of goods, this unsafe practice remains unchecked.

In view of the above, and as decided in the Tuensang DTF on COVID-19 meeting held on 7th Aug'2020, all shopkeepers /business establishments have been directed to ensure that no drivers /handymen /passengers of trucks de - board from their vehicles while unloading goods.

Failure to comply with this order shall invite penalty on shopkeepers /business establishments concerned as per various provisions of the Law.
