The Deportment of Technical Education has informed that to avail the state technical scholarship STS, the student/applicants should fulfil the following Eligibility criteria:

· Indigenous ST students pursuing studies in technical courses (Diploma/Degree/Masters) recognised by All India Council for Technical Education AICTE & Council of Architecture COA.

· Family annual income not exceeding Rs 8 (eight) lakhs, as certified by the competing authority from the district administration.

· Eligible applicants to apply online through the application platform-www.scholarship.nagaland.gov.in. Portal opens 1st Oct 2026 till 31st Dec 2026

While applying online, applicants are required to take note of the following:

1. Aadhaar authentication is mandatory for scholarship application.

2. Applicant must register on DIGILOCKER before applying.

3. Aadhaar seeding is a must. So, applicants are advised to ensure their bank account is Aadhaar seeded.

4. Applicants should avoid submitting false/fabricated income certificates/official documents for scholarship. If detected, the application for scholarship will be cancelled and necessary legal action shall be taken.
