The Tuensang District Planning & Development Board meeting was held on 7th October 2026 at the Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Hall, Tuensang. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Tuensang, Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa, who also proposed the welcome address.

The board reviewed the previous meeting minutes and later deliberated on the agendas of the day. The house recommended the upgradation of Star Kids Montessori School from Class 1to 2 for the next Academic Session 2027.

PowerPoint presentation on the activities of the Veterinary & Animal Husbandry Service was presented by the Chief Veterinary Officer, Tuensang. During the presentation, the CVO highlighted about the Department's activities in the district focusing on public benefits especially for cattle insurance and other department's facilities availed from designated offices and Centers.

Superintendent of Police, Tuensang, highlighted about the menace of alcohol consumption in the district where 11 lives were lost due to saturated liquor. He expressed his gratitude to the public for coming forward to support the Police Department in identifying the places where liquor was sold.

Deputy Commissioner reminded all the district heads of office to obtain Government Land Patta for their respective offices and Quarters to avoid from encroachments in the future.
