The full text is as follows:

“A total of 19 COVID-19 positive cases have been detected today – 1 in Kohima, 16 in Dimapur and 2 in Mokokchung. The total number of positive cases in the State now stands at 5,083.

Out of the 5,083 positive cases, the total recoveries so far are 3,883. The active cases are 1,172 and there have been 8 deaths. As per the severity of symptoms, 1,163 active cases are asymptomatic, 7 active cases are mild and 2 active cases are moderate.

Further, out of the 5,083 positive cases, the distribution across various categories of people are: 2,386 cases of Armed Forces/ Police, 1,404 cases of Returnees, 317 cases of Frontline Workers and 976 cases of Traced Contacts.

A total of 44,357 samples have been sent for testing through RT-PCR and results of 43,763 samples have been received. In addition, a total of 24,640 samples have been sent for testing on Truenat and results of 24,638 have been received. Through Rapid Antigen Test, 1,107 samples have been tested.

A total of 709 persons are presently under Facility Quarantine.”
