The full text is as follows:

 

“A total of 59 COVID-19 positive cases have been detected today – 14 in Kohima and 45 in Dimapur. The total number of positive cases in the State now stands at 5,451.

Out of the 5,451 positive cases, the total recoveries so far are 4,228. The active cases are 1,184 and there have been 10 deaths. As per the severity of symptoms, 1,156 active cases are asymptomatic, 26 active cases are mild and 2 active cases are moderate.

Further, out of the 5,451 positive cases, the distribution across various categories of people are: 2,550 cases of Armed Forces/ Police, 1,444 cases of Returnees, 1,132 cases of Traced Contacts and 325 cases of Frontline Workers.

A total of 46,969 samples have been sent for testing through RT-PCR and results of 45,882 samples have been received. In addition, a total of 26,435 samples have been sent for testing on Truenat and results of 26,428 samples have been received. Through Rapid Antigen Test, 1,301 samples have been tested.

A total 541 persons are presently under Facility Quarantine.”
