The full text is as follows:

 

“A total of 68 COVID-19 positive cases have been detected today – 29 in Kohima, 31 in Dimapur, 2 in Mokokchung, 2 in Mon and 4 in Peren. The total number of positive cases in the State now stands at 6,662.

Out of the 6,662 positive cases, the total recoveries so far are 5,408. The active cases are 1,179 and there have been 12 deaths. As per the severity of symptoms, 1,130 active cases are asymptomatic, 42 active cases are mild, 5 active cases are moderate and 2 active cases are with oxygen.

Further, out of 6,662 positive cases, the distribution across various categories of people are: 3,142 cases of Armed Forces/ Police, 1,530 cases of Returnees, 1,633 cases of Traced Contacts and 357 cases of Frontline Workers.

A total of 52,904 samples have been sent for testing through RT-PCR and results of 51,949 samples have been received. In addition, a total of 29,123 samples have been sent for testing on Truenat and results of 29,065 samples have been received. Through Rapid Antigen Test1, 954 samples have been tested”.
