 The full text is as follows:

 

“A total of 123 COVID-19 positive cases have been detected today – 37 in Kohima, 66 in Dimapur, 19 in Mokokchung and 1 in Mon. The total number of positive cases in the State now stands at 7,363.

Out of the 7,363 positive cases, the total recoveries so far are 5,770. The active cases are 1,505 and there have been 14 deaths. As per the severity of symptoms, 1,445 active cases are asymptomatic, 46 active cases are mild, 10 active cases are moderate, 1 active case is severe, 1 active case is with oxygen and 2 active cases are on ventilators.

Further, out of 7,363 positive cases, the distribution across various categories of people are: 3,364 cases of Armed Forces/ Police, 1,564 cases of Returnees, 2,063 cases of Traced Contacts and 372 cases of Frontline Workers.

A total of 55,784 samples have been sent for testing through RT-PCR and results of 54,223 samples have been received. In addition, a total 30,465 samples have been sent for testing on Truenat and results of 30,361 samples have been received. Through Rapid Antigen Test 3,086 samples have been tested.”
