All the three candidates have qualified to contest for the forthcoming Bye-Election 2020  to the 14 Southern Angami-1 A/C during the scrutiny of nomination conducted by SDO (C) Jakhama and Returning Officer, Ruopfukuotuo Noudi in his Office chamber on 17th October 2020.

The scrutiny was conducted in presence of General Observer, S.K.Pradhan, IAS, Secretary (Protocol) Home Department, Government of Sikkim and all other party agents.The qualified candidates include Medo Yhokha from NDPP, Kikovi Kirha from NPF and Seyievilie Peter Zashumo as Independent candidate.
