The District Task force Beti Bachao Beti Padhao and Mahila Shakti Kendra Longleng organized,Duet singing competition on 17th November 2020at DCs office complex, on the theme "Equality for Women is Progress for all." to encourage, motivate and support woman and girl child.

In her exhortation to the participants Pichano Kikon EAC Hq said that competition is more than just participation or winning the prizes but it is an uncovering of the natural hidden talent and gives people a platform to exhibit their artistic abilities to the creative side. She also urged the participants to continue to motivate and inspire people with their talent through such platforms provided for the youths.

All together 10 participants for different churches, schools and wards participated in the competition. From Hills School of Music & Culture, Kenmei Mukholee & Litong Mukho were adjudged first and Henmei N Phom & Emongyunglak from Longleng town Baptist Church bagged the second and Sentila S Pongen & Pangertula B Lemter from Ao Baptist Church bagged the third position. The panel of judges were Tanhau Youth Pastor Longleng Town Baptist Church, Rubie EAC Longleng and Bachem Buchem, Associate Pastor Christina Education.

Deputy Commissioner Longleng M. Shayung Phom gave away the prizes to the winners. Consolation prizes were also given to all the participants. The programme was chaired by Doichong Phom Ambassador (BBBP) Longleng.
