In pursuance of Section 166 of the R.P. Act of 1951, the power conferred to the State Government under Section 160 to Section 165 of the R.P. Act of 1951 has been delegated to the Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer, Tuensang and Kohima to act on behalf of the State Government for requisitioning of vehicles, premises etc., for the Bye-Election to Nagaland Legislative Assembly, 2021 from Sl-Noksen (ST) Assembly Constituency.

            Any vehicle, premises etc., belonging to private persons or institution/ organization so requisitioned shall be entitled for compensation under Section 161 of the R.P. Act of 1951.
