Due to the prevailing situation of COVID-19 and the lockdown measures being currently imposed in the district, various shops and small businesses of non-essential nature have been adversely affected and come to a standstill.

Therefore, as decided in District Task Force on COVID-19 held on 11th June, 2021, the DC & Chairman, DTF for COVID-19, Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant, IAS has appealed to the owners of shops and business establishments to be compassionate during this hour of crisis and waive off the rent for at least a month of the shops which have remained shut during the lockdown period.
