Directorate of Health & Family Welfare, Kohima has notified for general information that starting from academic session 2025-26, there will be no more General Nurse and Midwife (GNM) course as previously conducted by the Department of Health & Family Welfare.
With the upgradation of the 3 (three) Schools of Nursing to College of Nursing, namely; College of Nursing, Naga Hospital Authority Kohima, College of Nursing, District Hospital, Dimapur, College of Nursing, Dr. Imkongliba Memorial District Hospital, Mokokchung.
The new course of B.Sc (Nursing) for these colleges will begin from the academic session of 2025-26. The entrance exam will be through the Combined University Entrance Test (CUET- UG) and the seats for the colleges can be availed through the Directorate of Technical Education upon their notification and updates.
