Deputy commissioner Mon, Thavaseelan K IAS has notified that in view of COVID-19 Pandemic crisis and to contain the outbreak of the infection in the District, any person who has entered the Colony/Ward/Village after 6th March 2020 till date has to be mandatorily reported to the District Helpline Nos. 9862014033/9862078993/7005687775. Further, all Colony/Ward/Village authorities have been directed to check, authenticate and report any such person to the Helpline Nos. above for further action of the Health and family Welfare Department, Mon.

Deputy commissioner Mon, also notified that of all concerned under Mon District that all agencies engaged in farming operations and other agriculture related activities are exempted from the lockdown vide Order No.CSO/GAB-1/COM/GEN-1/2020 dated Kohima, the 24th March 2020. Therefore, movement of farmers and other persons involved in agriculture activities should not be restricted.
