Deputy Commissioner Mon, has notified the following regulations imposed for purchase of essential commodities in Mon Town with effect from 27th March 2020 till further orders.

Maximum permissible quantity per day

1.      Rice: 10kg per family

2.      Dal: 1 kg per family

3.      Oil: 1 litre per family

4.      Milk powder: 1kg per family

5.      Sugar: 1 kg per family

6.      Tea leaves: 1 kg per family

All the shopkeepers have been ordered for strict compliance to the above mentioned regulations.

Any person/group in violation of this order shall be deemed to have committed an offence punishable under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code.
