In pursuance to letter received from Home Department Government of Nagaland dated the 21st April 2020, regarding consolidated revised guidelines of lock down, Deputy Commissioner, Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant IAS has ordered the following construction activities are allowed under Tuensang District:
- Construction of roads, irrigation projects, building and all kinds of industrial projects, including MSMEs in rural areas.
- Construction of renewable energy projects.
- Construction of works in construction projects within the limits of Town Councils where works are available on site and no workers are to be brought in from outside.
All such constructions works should get permission from respective area Administrative officer by submitting the details of manpower/location of work/nature of work/vehicles involved in construction work.
Further all locations where construction activities are proposed to be commenced, strict measures shall be taken to ensure social/physical distancing and all other necessary health safety protocols.
Any violations of the above order will automatically cancel such permissions and will attract penalty as per provisions of the Disaster Management Act.
