As directed by the Home Department for distribution of relief to daily wage earners and labourers in the district, the DC of Dimapur has set up a Committee for identification of beneficiaries and distribution of relief packages with Executive Magistrates of the concerned area as Convener and Sector Commanders of the concerned area, GB of the concerned village/colony, Chairman of the concerned village/colony, Women representative of the concerned village/colony, youth representative of the concerned village/colony, 1 NGO representative of the concerned village/colony as members.

The committee is to identify the beneficiaries and submit the list within two days from the date of issue of order. DC stated that in view of the lockdown, all economic and commercial activities has come to a standstill a relief pack of essential commodities like rice, dal, m oil, sugar etc will be given to 11,000( eleven thousand) beneficiaries under Dimapur District to mitigate the hardships being faced by the daily wage earners and labourers. Each beneficiary will have to produce his Aadhaar or voter ID card or any other government ID with photo, sign with receipt as per format and his photographs along with the supplied packet will be taken in a mobile phone or digital camera and the collected photos will be transferred into a pen drive and kept for record to be submitted to NSDMA.
