Principal Secretary to the Government of Nagaland Abhijit Sinha has issued on Law & Order report on COVID-19 as on 2nd May 2020 which stated that 14 persons violated the lockdown process. Remedial steps were also taken against the violations and meanwhile one FIR was registered and 13 persons were bound down.  

The report further stated that, there were no restrictions on movement of Essential Service providers, like electricity, Telecom facilities cooking fuel, and Medical facilities, Movement of personnel/workers working in manufacturing units of essential commodities & e-Commerce agents in the state. Suitable arrangements have been made for providing food & shelter to migrant workers affected by COVID-19 restrictions from 4 active Relief Camps about 466 migrant Labourers are housed and 3800 daily wagers/needy persons were provided food & dry ration.
