Peshu Nyukya village under Thonoknyu sub-division of Noklak district became the first village in the district to be 100% vaccinated. Covid Vaccination for all eligible beneficiaries above 18 years of age was completed on the 15th July 2021.

A special intensified vaccination drive has been initiated by District Administration and Medical department of the Sub-division spearheaded by the District Task Force, Noklak. The achievement of the milestone in vaccination is expected to be a trendsetter for other villages amidst confusion and apprehension regarding the vaccine due to false information and rumours.
