Peren District Task Force (DTF) on COVID-19 meeting was held on 17th August, 2020 at Deputy Commissioner's Chamber, District Hq. Peren under the chairmanship of DC Peren, Sentiwapang Aier who is also the DTF Chairman.

After much deliberation the following points were resolved:

  1. Concerning the ongoing total restriction of inter-district movements for 2 weeks from 6th August, 2020 to 19th August, 2020, after much deliberation the house decided to continue regulation of movements for another one week w.e.f from 20th August, 2020 to 26th August, 2020 with exemption of the following categories:

a) Patients referred for treatment outside the district by a competent authority.

b) Transportation of essential commodities.

c) Government servants or agency on duty.

d) Transportation of Central and State construction workers and materials.

e) Agriculture products and individuals handling transportations.

f) All other categories exempted as per Nagaland Govt. SOP.

However, unnecessary public movement will continue to be restricted as per Government order till further notification.

  1. For individuals who need COVID-19 testing but not in the ambit of tree testing, paid testing provision will be provided depending on the availability of sample testing kits. For which an amount of Rs. 1500/- per test will be charged.
  2. As sampling of AR Personnel in huge number is becoming problematic with shortage of testing kits from the supply source, the DTF members has decided to appraise higher authority for remedial.

In the meeting, DC Peren has also informed the house that the next DTF meeting is scheduled to be held on 24th August, 2020 at 12:00 noon as usually conducted every Monday unless rescheduled.
