2nd Edition of the Chumoukedima District Inter School Badminton Tournament begins at Testo College on 4th July 2025.

President of Chumoukedima District Badminton Association (CDBA), Seyietuo Yashu in his welcome address stated that the tournament is not only a platform to display sporting talent but also a place where discipline, dedication and sportsmanship are vested and celebrated. Believing that, through sports we build character, foster unity and inspiring healthy competition among our youths and urged the participants to play with patience and uphold the value of fairness and respect.

It may be mentioned that around 350 participants from 26 schools are competing in the 2 days tournament under various categories.

Earlier, the program begins with an invocation from Rev. Zhau Sanchu, CRC Sovima, while Imtilong Longkumer, Tournament Head Referee conducted tournament briefing and Oath taking.

The program was chaired by Chemdila Mongzar.
