In commemoration of the 75th Year of Indian’s Independence “ Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” (1st July – 14th August 2021), the department of Public Health Engineering (PHED) Wokha, kick started its calendar activities on 6th July 2021.

The Department, led by Executive Engineer, Wokha, Er. Imnazulu Ao carried out plantation drive cum cleanliness drive at the office premise and at Etsutchukha, which is the main water source for Wokha town. The Department’s intention to clean and plant trees at the main water source is to sensitize the public about the importance of consuming clean and safe water.
