In view of the proposed nationwide interaction with beneficiaries of various schemes/ programmes by the Prime Minister of India, Wokha district also joined the rest of the Nation in observing the programme at Tiyi Hall, Wokha on 31st May 2022.

SDO (C), Wokha Chonpenthung Ezung while giving the opening remark said the Prime Minister's interaction with beneficiaries through video conferencing was to explore the possibilities of convergence and to discuss ways and means for saturation of the schemes and also to provide an opportunity to understand and fulfill the aspiration of the citizens as we march to celebrate 100 years of Indian Independence in the year 2047.
Advisor Law & Justice & DPDB Chairman, Wokha, Dr. Chumben Murry while addressing the programme, lauded Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi for the great visions he has for the nation. He also stated that under his leadership many schemes and policies involving many departments across the Nation have been introduced and called upon the people to come forward and avail the opportunity.
One of the beneficiaries who shared his experience during the programme said because of the schemes/programmes introduced especially in the rural areas, people are getting maximum benefits in so many ways, now they have become self-sufficient and their economic standards have improved, and expressed thankfulness on behalf of all the beneficiaries to the Government of India.
Departments involved in dealing with central sponsored schemes/programmes shared their progress of works.
Giving the concluding remark SDO (C) Wokha, Selemla S. Sangtam expressed gratitude to all departments for their active participation, beneficiaries, and all individuals concerned involved in making the programme a grand success.
