PUBLIC NOTICE FOR DELIMITATION OF TUENSANG TOWN COUNCIL WARDS

Deputy Commissioner Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant, IAS has informed that as decided in the Delimitation Board meeting held on 4th May, 2021 in respect of Tuensang Town Council and in accordance with relevant provisions under Nagaland Municipal (delimitation of Wards) Rules, 2003 the Delimitation Board has decided to create 2 (two) new Wards under Tuensang Town Council with the following details as under:

1.         NST WARD (14)

i. Ward No.                                         : 14 (Fourteen)

ii. Nomenclature of the Ward             : NST

iii. Boundary                                       : North: Home Guard Sector, HS ‘A’ Ward

                                                            : South: Bazar ‘B’ Ward

                                                            : East: Bazar ‘A’ Ward

                                                            : West: 3rd NAP Nullah

iv. No. of Households in the Ward     : 339 (2011 census)

v. Population of the Ward                   : 1833 (2011 census)

2.         HAKUSHANG WARD (15)

i. Ward No.                                         : 15 (Fifteen)

ii. Nomenclature of the Ward             : HAKUSHANG

iii. Boundary                                       : North: Laiket Sector, St John ‘A’ Ward

                                                            : South: Nyaklangbou, St John ‘B’ Ward

                                                                        : East : Chenyangsi and Phinjang Colony

  St John ‘A’ Ward

: West: 3rd NAP Nullah

vi. No. of Households in the Ward     : 271 (2011 census)

v. Population of the Ward                   : 1606 (2011 census)

In this regard the DC has informed that any objection and suggestion with regards to the above notice will be accepted upto 7(seven) days from the issue of this public notice.
