According to the report on Law & Order and facilitation of essential Goods & Services for 9th of April 2020, 3 violations of the lockdown were reported in the State. Abhijit Sinha, IAS, Principal Secretary to the Government of Nagaland, while issuing the report stated that 3 people have been bound down. No law and order incidents have been reported.

On the supply of essential goods, shops for food grains and groceries were open in all the districts. In Kiphire, shops open on alternate days and in Mokokchung, shops are regulated. Shops for milk were open in all the districts. Medicinal shops also remain opened in all the districts. No shortage of food grains, groceries, milk and medicines have been reported in any part of the State.

On essential services, manufacturing, distribution & e-commerce, no restriction was imposed the on movement of commercial vehicles for distribution of essential commodities and service providers like electricity, telecommunication, fuels etc. Also, there was no restriction on the movement of personnel/workers in manufacturing units of essential commodities. In Dimapur, 3 relief camp has been setup for sheltering 363 people and 2221 people were given food/food grain by the District Administration and NGOs. Further, permits were issued to commercial vehicles transporting essential commodities and retail shops opened from 9 AM to 2 PM and wholesale market opened from 3 AM to 8 AM.
